Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison.
One may wonder why on a veterinary pet website focused on nutrition, these two men appear on the front page. The story between these two men is an amazing story of polarization (pardon the pun). One man was a genius who wanted to give the world free use of electricity and the other used the genius's ideas to get rich and discredit the other. The genius was a recluse and eccentric animal lover. The other electrocuted animals in the streets to discredit the other. Click on the right to learn more!

Nutritional Focus
You will notice that this website will be adopting a nutritional focus. While it will still handle general medical questions and topics, there will be more information on nutrition. We will focus on the truth behind many nutritional myths and scare tactics provided by many different companies. This site will supply facts which will be supported with data and research. I will site research and studies as they come up. I hope that you will find this site informative.
As a matter of disclosure and general information:
I am currently a Practice Development Veterinarian for Hill's Pet Nutrition. My primary role is as a nutritional educator. I work with specialists, general practice veterinarians, veterinary technicians and staff. I work one on one as well as give lectures and all day events on nutrition. While Hill's Therapeutic Diets are discussed; the prime focus is on the role that nutrition plays with respect to disease.
This site presents my sole views and knowledge and does not reflect the ideas or beliefs of Hill's or Colgate. Please not that I will not be directly recommending, discussing or disparaging any particular diet or company. While I love Hill's Pet Nutrition, its ethics and products, you will not find the Hill's or Colgate logo on any pages. For the Hill's website please click on the picture to the right or go to: www.hillspet.com
